Hello my lovelies, in an attempt to post more beauty related posts I have taken it upon myself to share my current go to products. Product 1: SOAP AND GLORY HAND FOOD
The product itself is super handy.. EYYYY GET IT? hahaha.. Right I’ll just stick to reviewing it. I’ve found that a small amount can go a very long way! Which I think was my downfall at the beginning as I’d use way too much and be left with excess product and greasy hands! However, when applying the perfect amount it really leaves your hands feeling super soft and most importantly… nourished. The travel-sized product is perfect for any handbag.. and to be honest if it’s not in yours then girl you need to get to the shops and treat yourself! Product 2: PURA COSMETICS LIP SCRUB I couldn’t help but include this brand, Pura Cosmetics. I have previously featured this product on my blog, but as the brisk weather approaches I have found myself occasionally re-adding this to my evening routine. I’ve always struggled with dry and cracked lips during the autumn and winter months so in order to keep that pout super smooth I’ve been using Pura Cosmetic’s Revitalising Raspberry Lip Scrub. Gently buffing this scrub into my lips removes any dead skin and has left them feeling super nourished. In addition to this I then apply a small amount of lip balm to rehydrate them. My only negative about this item is that I struggle the get the product out of the container.. but that’s my own fault for loving false nails! Not only do I struggle to actually get my finger in the jar but I’m left with excess scrub stuck underneath my nail… however it’s well worth it when I’m left with that perfect pout! Product 3: L’OREAL MICELLAR WATER What a surprise this is featured ey?… We all know how great Micellar Water is! And if you don’t.. go get yourself some… It will change your life, and your skin! I’ve always struggled with facial products as I’m prone to getting dry skin but also have an oily T-Zone, so make-up removal has played havoc causing breakouts. L’Oreals Micellar Water leaves me fresh faced within literally minutes, removing all my make-up so easily. When applied with cotton pads this product gently removes my make-up without having to forcefully scrub. Not only does it quickly enable me to cleanse my face but it has drastically improved my facial condition (reducing visible redness and breakout frequency). I’m so obsessed! And the best part is that a little product goes a long way! Product 4: KMS CALIFORNIA TAME FRIZZ OILProduct 5: INSTANT EFFECTS: INSTANT LASH
All the products I have featured are seriously doing the world of good for me at the moment! Let me know your thoughts on any products that you recommend or your thoughts about those I have included!
Until next time, Dea xo

As many of us girls are aware, every so often a change is good! Mixing up your style gives you a fresh new feel! No matter if it's break-up hair, mid-life crisis hair or simply to spruce yourself up... Inevitably you'll put that spring back in your step! Most recently we have seen the likes of Kim Kardashian and younger sister Kylie Jenner dabble with bleached locks! With money like theirs roots are no issue!! Kendall Jenner is one member of the Kardashian Klan who likes to stick to her style, however, check out this blondie earlier in the week at a Pepsi photoshoot! - It's only a wig though guys... Cara Delevingne is the latest to jump on the blonde bandwagon... platinum blonde that is! 1. Rope in a professional! - If you really want to go blonde that much and you currently have black or brunette hair you should 100% totes go to the pros! Nobody wants to end up with green hair from a dodgy box dye! 2. Be prepared to spend A LOT - Maintenance puts a lot of us off jumping on the blonde bandwagon! Roots are a killer, so be prepared to constantly be at the hairdressers! - Make sure you can financially manage the look! 3. Match your make-up! - Going blonde will not only affect your go-to shades of lippy, but you girls need to make sure your foundation matches the new look! 4. Upgrade yo' shampoo! - Constantly topping up results in a lot of ammonia, this can change the texture of your hair! Be sure to have high quality hair care products! You should also use less shampoo and more conditioner! 5. Be prepared to be mocked!! - Not because you've mixed up your style (Girl you look banging) but because stereotypically blondes are less intellectual that those with other hair colours... how this has an impact on your brains ability, I'll never know! Summer is the perfect time to reinvent yourself! - Don't be afraid of the change! (They do say blondes have more fun!.. or do they?)
Until next time girls, Dea x |
